Why Choose A Composite Door

  Strength & security

Multiple veneers of resin bonded lumber combine to form one of the most impenetrable doors on the market today. The solid laminated veneer lumber core is amazingly robust and offers strength, stiffness and structure. As recognised by successful testing by the British Board of Agreement (BBA).

High security locking system and steel reinforced frames to give you peace of mind.

The door is protected with a blended polycarbonate skin which has impact strength and is weatherproof. Combining weatherproof laminate with realistic wood grain finish these are attractive low maintenance doors.

Look like timber but with the advantage of a durable wipe clean surface offers excellent scratch resistance and thermal insulation and are guaranteed not to warp, twist or flake. Never needs painting.

  Security

The Standad cylinder has six pins and is highly specified. However, as an option there is the Mul-T-Lock, this high security cylinder is designed to resist extreme levels of force that could be exerted by the most persistent burglar.

The cylinder guard option is added protection to your doors. The strong metal collar protects the cylinder from manipulation and snapping.

When force is applied the security section separates leaving the cylinder operational. The Mul-T-lock cylinder has seven pins and is anti-jiggle, anti-drill, anti-extraction and anti pick.

Two unique security keys are provided with the Mul-T-lock cylinder. Any replacement keys may only be cut with a specially supplied Mul-T-lock registration card.

For the elderly and infirm the AV2 automatic multipoint locking system may be an option. The mechanical spring loaded steel hooks automatically throw when the door is closed. Rather than lifting the handle to throw the hooks.
